Breathing exercises 🌬️ are the key to mindfulness, energy, and peace

Breathing is the foundation of life, the connecting link between body, mind, and consciousness. It influences energy levels, emotional state, and the ability to be in the present moment. At DREVO, breathing exercises are used for cleansing, energizing, relaxation, and mindfulness.

1. Mindful breathing – returning to the present moment 🌿

Target:Harmonization of mind and body, stress relief.

βœ… How to practice?

Sit comfortably, close your eyes.

Start observing your breathing – don’t control it, just follow your inhalations and exhalations.

Feel the air coming in and out, filling your lungs, moving throughout your body.

Gradually, your breathing will become deeper and calmer.

Effect:Relieving anxiety, awareness, restoring inner balance.

2. Full yogic breathing – filling with energy ⚑

Target:Increase lung capacity, improve energy circulation.

βœ… How to practice?

Take a slow breath, first filling your belly, then your chest, then the upper part of your lungs.

Hold your breath for a couple of seconds.

Exhale slowly in the same order: first the air comes out of the stomach, then from the chest, then from the upper part of the lungs.

Repeat 5-10 times.

Effect:Improves concentration, saturates the body with oxygen, fills with energy.

3. 4-7-8 breathing – instant calm πŸ•ŠοΈ

Target:Quickly relieve stress, relax the nervous system.

βœ… How to practice?

Inhale through your nose for a count of 4.

Hold your breath for 7 counts.

Slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of 8.

Repeat 4-5 times.

4. Kapalabhati – Breath of Fire πŸ”₯

Target:Cleanses the lungs, improves energy circulation, increases energy levels.

βœ… How to practice?

Take a deep breath through your nose.

Begin taking quick, short exhalations, actively contracting your abdominal muscles. Inhalations will happen automatically.

Continue for 30-60 seconds, then take a deep breath and hold it for 10 seconds.

⚠️ Important:Do not practice if you have hypertension, pregnancy or heart disease.

Effect:Improves concentration, cleanses the body, fills with energy.

5. Alternate Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) – Energy Balancing ☯️

Target:Balancing the flow of energy in the body, harmonizing the left and right hemispheres of the brain.

βœ… How to practice?

Close your right nostril with your thumb and inhale through your left nostril.

Close your left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through the right.

Inhale through your right nostril, then close it again and exhale through your left.

Repeat for 5-10 minutes.

Effect:Balance of emotions, clarity of mind, deep relaxation.

6. Ujjayi breathing – β€œocean breathing” 🌊

Target:Calming the mind, increasing vital energy.

βœ… How to practice?

Inhale through your nose, slightly narrowing your glottis (a soft noise similar to a sea breeze should appear).

Exhale with the same noise, feeling a slight resistance in your throat.

Breathe in this rhythm for 3-5 minutes.

Effect:Deep concentration, increased inner warmth, relief from anxiety.
