1.2. How to work with your experiences 🎭💡
Emotions and experiences arenot just reactions to external events, but deep internal processes that canhelp us grow or, on the contrary, drive us into stress and isolation.
When wewe don't know how to work with experiences, we can: ❌ Suppress emotions(which leads to the accumulation of stress). ❌ Going into emotional reactions(which leads to conflicts). ❌ To be captivated by the same thoughts(which creates anxiety and worry).
But when wewe consciously experience our feelings, we gain: ✅ Deep understanding of oneself. ✅ Calmness, stability and inner balance. ✅ The ability to transform experiences into a resource.
💡 How can we learn to work with our experiences so that they become our tool, not a prison?
🛠 1. Awareness of experiences: "Stop-moment"

📌 Often, emotions take hold automatically. The first thing we need to do is recognize them early.
🔹 STOP-moment practice
1️⃣ Stopfor a second and take a deep breath. 2️⃣ Ask yourself:"What am I feeling now?" 3️⃣ Identify the emotion:anger, anxiety, fear, joy, sadness, etc. 4️⃣ Realize:"Why do I feel this?" 5️⃣ Allow yourself to simplynotice this state without judgment.
📌 Why it works: ✔️ Helpsdon't fall into the trap of impulsive reactions. ✔️ Developsthe ability to observe your feelings rather than be a victim of them.
💡 Awareness is the first step to managing emotions.
🌀 2. Acceptance of emotions: “Don’t fight it – live it”
❌ Often we resist emotions:
"I shouldn't feel angry."
"I can't be anxious."
"I have no right to be sad."
📌 But suppressing feelings doesn't make them weaker—it makes them deeper and more destructive.
🔹 Practice "Allowing Emotions to Be"
1️⃣ Close your eyes, imagine your emotion asa cloud floating in the sky. 2️⃣ Tell yourself:"I allow this emotion to be in me.". 3️⃣ Feel how the emotion changes when you accept it. 4️⃣ Take a deep breath in and out, observing its movement.
📌 Why it works: ✔️ Allowsexperience an emotion without suppressing it. ✔️ Weakens its influence and helpsmove on to constructive actions.
💡 You are not the emotion, you are the one who observes it.
⚡ 3. Release emotions through movement and body

Emotions don't just stay in your head -they get stuck in the body. 🔹 Anger —tension in the shoulders, fists, jaw. 🔹 Alarm —abdominal cramps, shallow breathing. 🔹 Sadness —heaviness in the chest, weakness in the body.
📌 If we don't give these feelings an outlet, they stay inside us and accumulate.
🔹 Methods for releasing emotions through the body:
✅ Physical activity(running, dancing, stretching, boxing). ✅ Breathing practices(slow exhale, deep breathing). ✅ Physical exercises(shaking the body, relaxing the muscles).
📌 Why it works: ✔️ Helps"unload" the emotion without suppressing it. ✔️ Cleansclamps that interfere with the free flow of energy.
💡 If the emotion is strong, give it movement, and it will go away faster.
📖 4. Keeping an Emotional Journal: "Talk to Yourself"
Sometimes our emotionschaotic and incomprehensible. An emotion diary helps you structure your experiences and understand them more deeply.
🔹 How to keep an emotions diary?
1️⃣ Describe the situation: What happened? 2️⃣ Write down the emotions: What do I feel? 3️⃣ Figure out the reason: Why do I feel this? 4️⃣ Find a resource: How can this feeling help me?
📌 Example entry: 📅 Date:March 15 😡 Emotion:Irritation 🎭 Situation:The boss gave me an urgent task again at the end of the day. ⚡ Reaction:I got angry, but kept silent. 💡 Awareness:It's time to learn to talk about your boundaries.
📌 Why it works: ✔️ Helpsnotice recurring emotions and reactions. ✔️ Allowsfind conscious ways to resolve the situation.
💡 The more we understand our emotions, the easier it is to manage them.
🎯 5. Transforming emotions into a resource
Every experiencecan be turned into strength if you understand its hidden meaning.
🔹 Anger→ indetermination(to stand up for oneself). 🔹 Fear→ inpreparation(What can you do to feel more confident?) 🔹 Alarm→ inclarity(What steps will help you gain control?) 🔹 Sadness→ inreflection(What valuable thing can I get out of this situation?).
📌 Ask yourself: 💡 "How can this emotion help me?"
📌 Why it works: ✔️ Switches thinkingfrom problematic to constructive. ✔️ Allowsuse emotions for growth, not destruction.
🏁 Summary: 5 steps to consciously work with emotions

✅ 1. Realize: What do I feel now? ✅ 2. Accept: I allow this emotion to be. ✅ 3. Release through the body: Breathing, movement, stretching. ✅ 4. Record and analyze: What caused the emotion? How can I use it? ✅ 5. Transform: How can emotion become a resource?
